Many people do not realise that we are a self-funding independent educational charity. We raise 100% of our revenue funding ourselves from visitor entrance fees, memberships and our fundraising events. Often when faced with costs associated with acquiring or conserving exhibits, we need to run fundraising appeals and apply for capital grants.
