Who You Are Buying From

  1. Tickets are issued by Grampian Transport Museum who will be responsible for the event. Events will adhere to the following terms and conditions. Additional directives may also be included in the order confirmation or on the event ticket.

Event Information

  1. All information pertaining to Events listed on this website including, but not limited to, dates, timings, venue, ticket prices, and availability are entered into the website or provided by Grampian Transport Museum (the Event Organiser). The accuracy of all event information is the sole responsibility of the Event Organiser
  2. Booking fees (Service Charges and Processing Fees) are not included within the Ticket Sale Price. The Ticket Sale Price and any per-item Service Charges plus any per-order Processing Fees will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Currency

  1. All prices listed on the Grampian Transport Museum ticketing website will be in British Pounds (GBP).

Order Confirmation

  1. Your Order Confirmation will be issued via email. The Order Confirmation will contain an Order Number which is a unique identifier that will act as your proof of purchase. The Event Organiser may use an Order Number as an equivalent to an electronic ticket (e-ticket).
  2. It is your responsibility to verify that any tickets purchased are complete and correct as mistakes cannot always be rectified at the time of the event. If you do not receive an Order Number in the form of a confirmation email after submitting payment information, it is your responsibility to confirm your orders with the Event Organiser. Grampian Transport Museum will not be responsible for any losses if you fail to confirm an order if you do not receive an Order Confirmation.
  3. Any ticketholder who fails to provide Confirmation of Purchase in the form of a physical/e-ticket, or Order Confirmation email in conjunction with a valid identification indicating that they are the individual named on the Order Confirmation may not be admitted to the event and will not receive a refund.

Dispatch of Tickets

  1. Tickets can be issued in the form of:
  • E-tickets which will be emailed to you immediately following the successful purchase of items. E-tickets are your confirmation email. You will need to print and present a physical copy or display an electronic copy of your tickets at the venue.
  • Proof of Identity and concession entitlement checks may be required by the Event Organiser at the time of booking or upon entry to the event. Proof of concession entitlement may include proof of age, student identification, etc.
  • It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that all ticket delivery information (email address) is correct. Failure to do so may result in the Order Confirmation and tickets being unsuccessfully delivered. The Event Organiser will not be held responsible for incorrect information entered by the customer.
  • We will endeavour to dispatch your tickets within 72 hours of your booking. If your tickets have not arrived within 5 working days of the booking, please contact us to enable the correct information to be updated and tickets reissued.

Exchanges and Refunds

  1. Tickets are non-refundable unless the event has been cancelled. Tickets may also be refunded or exchanged in the event of significant changes to the event after the purchase of tickets is complete including. A significant change to the event details may include a change of venue. Change of headline act in the case of music or comedy events may also constitute a significant change to the event details. Significant changes are decided upon at the discretion of the Event Organiser. Events may be postponed, and tickets will be transferred to the new date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, a gift voucher will be issued. 
  2. Customers maintain the right to be refunded if an event is cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled due to government health regulations restricting their ability to attend an event. A positive Antigen Test such as a Lateral Flow Test (LFT) or a positive Nucleic Acid Amplification Test such as a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) will not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.
  3. Booking fees (Service Charges and Processing Fees) are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed.

Cancelled and Postponed Events

  1. It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to inform you if an event has been cancelled or significantly changed. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to maintain a correct email address to receive important updates about booked events.
  2. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to check whether any booked events are proceeding the scheduled venue, date, and time detained in the Order Confirmation and on the issued tickets. 
  3. The Event Organiser will not be liable for personal expenses including, but not limited to, travel and transportation. Personal expenses are purchased at your own risk and will not be compensated.
  4. If an event is cancelled by the Event Organiser due to circumstances beyond their control, it is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to refund the of the booking directly to the original ticketholder. Booking fees (Service Charges and Processing Fees) are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed. It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to provide the ticketholder with a full refund including any Booking fees.
  5. Should the Event Organiser have any specific Terms and Conditions relating to the event (e.g., age restrictions), these will be stated on the event page on the ticketing site or during the booking process.
  6. For any discretionary refund or exchanges (refunds or exchanges outside of what has been outlined above), please contact the Event Organiser directly.

Resale of Tickets

  1. Tickets purchased or reserved through Grampian Transport Museum's online shop may not be resold for private or commercial gain. The Event Organiser reserve the right to cancel any tickets being sold to/through unauthorised third parties without notified or refund.

Terms and Conditions of the Event Organiser

  1. It is the responsibility of the event attendees to comply with the Terms and Conditions of the venue. Failure to follow any of the Terms and Conditions of the Event Organiser, venue, or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause injury, damage, or nuisance shall entitle the Event Organiser to remove you from the venue.

Queries and Complaints

  1. If you or any member of your party experience any issues while attending an event, please contact museum staff as issues cannot always be resolved retrospectively.
  2. If you have a query or complaint relating to the event or ticketing, please contact the Event Organiser. If you have a query of complaint regarding a cancellation or significant change to an event, please refer to sections 12 through 20 above. 

Disclaimer

  1. We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free and uninterrupted. Grampian Transport Museum also does not guarantee that all files downloaded from the website do not contain viruses, or other such destructive features.

Limitation on Liability

  1. Grampian Transport Museum will endeavour to always maintain the website’s availability, sometimes events occur beyond our control such as loss of service, or essential upgrades and maintenance. We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or business opportunities.
  2. We will never be liable for any amount beyond the face value of the tickets plus any additional booking fees.
